Standard Test Method for Reheat Change of Refractory Brick

Standard Details

1.1 This test method covers the determination of the permanent linear change of refractory brick when heated under prescribed conditions.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.

Note 1: Test methods incorporating additional provisions pertinent to specific refractory materials are given in the following Test Methods: C179, C210, and C605.
