This terminology contains related definitions and descriptions of terms used or likely to be used in primary barrier packaging StandardDetails. The purpose of terminology is to promote clear understanding and interpretation of the StandardDetails in which they are used.

1.2 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International StandardDetails, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
