Standard Details

This method evaluates the propensity of crankcase oils using the M-B OMB364A diesel engine to resist the formation of deposits and prevent wear encountered during heavy duty, extended oildrain, turbocharged operation; primary results also include piston deposits and cylinder bore polishing. Secondary results include cylinder wear, oil consumption, cam, tappet and bearing condition. This procedure may involve hazardous materials, operations and equipment.
